CREATE 08 - The Easter 'Create 08' SICA Workshop Weekend at Gunnebah Retreat, NSW attracted over 30 people from Brisbane, Sydney, Canberra, Sunshine Coast, Wollongong and the local Wollumbin region.
The Gunnebah Retreat offers beautiful mud-brick chalet accomodation and camping - with delicious meals, communal cafe and lounge area, lovely hall for concerts, workshops and dance, swimming pool, clean amenities and beautiful walks with stunning views of Mount Warning area. Gunnebah is just a few minutes drive from Murwillumbah town centre.

The Easter SICA program comprised of discussions and professional presentations on ways to access and approach our own unique creativity across a range of artforms.

Jewellery Making with Frances Linden
Music Improvisation with Sebastian Flynn
There was a wonderful evening concert featuring dance, poetry, music, theatre - and a market stall on Easter Sunday - with handmade jewellery, artwork, CD's, handmade chocolates - and our young SICA workshoppers - Letitia, Roslyn, Amber and Davina raised $100 for SICA with the beautiful jewellery they made - well done girls!
